ABOUT US
Babuchaa lives at the intersection of front-line care and expert craftsmanship.
We are Nysa and Pawan — partners in life and co-founders of Babuchaa, a Melbourne-based label born from one simple idea: healthcare workers deserve better than basic uniforms.
Nysa is a Registered Nurse who understands the reality of 12-hour shifts — the aching feet, the constant motion, the need to have everything you need in the right pocket, at the right time. She knows exactly how it feels when your scrubs work against you instead of with you.
Pawan grew up in a multi-generational uniform manufacturing family. He understands fabric, fit, and construction — how a garment needs to be engineered to last, wash after wash, shift after shift.
When we looked at the scrubs market, we realised something was missing. Nurses and healthcare professionals were wearing uniforms that didn’t truly care for them back. So we combined Nysa’s clinical insight with Pawan’s heritage in manufacturing and created Babuchaa — medical uniforms re-engineered to feel like a second skin.
Every Babuchaa piece is cut from premium, four-way stretch performance fabric that moves, breathes and flexes with you. We obsess over pocket placement, seam lines and durability so you don’t have to think about your scrubs at all — you just put them on and get to work.
OUR PURPOSE
“Babuchaa” is our daughter’s nickname.
It’s more than a brand name — it’s our reminder to build everything with care, integrity and a future-focused mindset.
Our purpose is simple:
To upgrade the standard of care for the carers.
We are an Australian, family-owned business dedicated to arming healthcare professionals with scrubs that are:
- Authentic – Designs tested in real shift life, shaped by Nysa’s experience on the floor.
- Excellent – Manufacturing standards overseen by Pawan, honouring decades of uniform expertise.
- Community-driven – A local brand that treats every customer like family, not just an order number.
When you wear Babuchaa, you’re not just wearing scrubs.
You’re wearing a promise from our family to yours — to support you, move with you, and help you feel confident every time you step onto the ward.
